I love opening up my jar of Whole Body Cleanse because it smells like apples and cinnamon. Instead of adding it to my usually smoothie this morning, I decided to try it in oatmeal, obviously. It turned out to be a perfect match! Whole oats alone are rich in antioxidants, soluble fiber and can help lower cholesterol. With the addition of Whole Body Cleanse, you get both soluble and insoluble fibers from organic apple, organic fig, organic prune as well as psyllium husk to help flush out toxins and promote healthy recirculation in your body. Not only was this healthy, but it was delicious!
Here is how I made it:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 C. Whole Oats (I grounded it up a little)
- 2 C. Water
- 1 tsp. Flaxseed meal
- 1 tsp. Whole Body Cleanse powder
- 1/2 tsp.
- Brown sugar Splash of plant-based or regular milk
Follow directions to make oatmeal. It usually says to start with boiling the water. Then add the oatmeal. Stir. Once it comes to a boil, turn down the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in the flaxseed meal and Whole Body Cleanse. Serve in a bowl topped with your favorite toppings. Raisins would have been good! I topped mine with brown sugar and a splash of milk. Enjoy!
Try it and let us know what you think!
